woman's biology tells us that the best time for conception is the ten days prior to ovulation. This is because this is when a woman is most fertile as one or more eggs is released from the ovaries on the tenth day. Obviously not all parents-to-be are pregnant because they knew all this, as expecting a child may have been a miracle or sudden surprise.

For those who have "planned" their pregnancy, the 'best time' should ideally also be accompanied by a healthy lifestyle. Health professionals tell us that weight, alcohol consumption, smoking, & stress can affect a woman's pregnancy chances.
Additionally, the biological clock is constantly reminded to career women or those who have chosen to delay motherhood. It is mentioned that older women are less likely to be fertile, more likely to miscarry, experience complications during pregnancy or labour. Why have we not mentioned the 'older womans' age? - Because if we are as old as how we feel, age may not be a barrier for some women.
All factors considered it is fair to say that best time conception needs to be the best time for the parents & ultimately for the new baby.
